MSA Safety is the global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of safety products for the oil, gas & petrochemical industries as wells as the fire, construction, mining and military services.

During covid, as did many other large corporate companies, MSA adopted a remote work policy that instantly eliminated the need for hundreds of thousands of square feet of office space. In 2025, being 5 years removed from the pandemic, it was time to call everyone back to the office, so they purchased an office building near their headquarters in Cranberry, Pennsylvania.

Challenged with the delicate situation of employees being accustomed to working from home, outdated office space and the need to attract talent, they engaged the HASI team. We were able to take the newly acquired three story, 120,000sf office and design a clean and collaborative environment for over 700 offices & workstations, conferencing & auditorium, full service cafeteria, gym & locker room and a ton of collaboration areas.
